Chicken Noodle Soup – How to Make It Delicious

If there are onions, green chilies, and garlic in your cupboards? you can include them. If you do not have green chilies, cilantro, and onions, use green onions. If you do not like garlic, do not use it. If you do not have green chilies, add dried red pepper flakes.

One of the best ways to get authentic Mexican taste is to use authentic spices for your soup. A perfect example is fenugreek. Just boil the fenugreek in water and let it steep for five minutes. Then strain the water and take out all the seeds. You can season the soup as you wish, but you should know that most stores sell chicken noodle soup without spices, so you will not be wasting any money by using real spices.

The first time I prepared my chicken noodle soup with fenugreek, I did not use any salt at all, but I have to say that I was a bit too conservative. The taste was definitely bland, and I was ready to throw out some of the soup. But I kept it in the back of my mind, and whenever I am ready to add more authentic Mexican taste to my meals, I reach for the fenugreek.

It is actually funny how fenugreek adds flavor to your food without any spices. It gives an oniony flavor to your chicken noodle soup, but also has a nice richness to it. It is very similar to an Italian herb called oregano. You will actually find some grocery stores that carry this type of spice and it does make a difference in your chicken noodle soup.

Another ingredient that you will definitely want to use in your chicken noodle soup is garlic. There are many recipes out there that call for it, but you can easily make your own version. All you need is a whole head of garlic, some butter and some cream. You simply add the garlic while it’s cooking, let it cook, and then blend it into your butter. Then you just add your chicken and whatever else you have on hand.

If you do not like garlic, you can also use onion. Just make sure that you use a good grade of onion, because if you use an onion with a strong flavor, it will overwhelm the chicken and the overall taste of the soup. And to avoid this, use a good meat bouillon instead of using broth. This way, you will still get the wonderful flavor of the broth, but you will keep the onion and the garlic out of the way.
